Terra’s career in consumer insights was just an extension of her personal penchant for seeking “why”. It has been a life of deliberate digging at what drives emotion and behavior, on or off the clock for Terra. This has only been sustainable because whether it’s through writing rap lyrics or world traveling, Terra longs to learn. From washing machines to life insurance, Terra’s thirst to understand has helped build brands via deep research and analysis. At Innovation Protocol, Terra facilitates brand programs on the Brand Development team with the same fervor, driving research and strategy for clients large and small.
Terra studied Psychology at the University of California-San Diego, earned a Masters in Public Health from The George Washington University, and specialized in Health Communications and Marketing — which all shows up in her knack for pharma/medical/fitness, qualitative research, and innovative approaches to problem solving. Terra is originally from Los Angeles, via San Diego, Washington DC, and San Francisco.
